King Power Stadium taking shape

Leicester City's newly-named home is taking shape for the new season, with a new pitch now laid and advertising banners being altered to reflect the change in stadium sponsorship from Walkers to King Power.

Images posted on the FoxesTalk blog reveal the first of the alterations, a panoramic view of the inside of the ground revealing that, with a week remaining for work to take place before City's glamour friendly against Real Madrid, 'Walkers' lettering built-in to the seating at either end of the ground is being re-laid to spell-out 'King Power'.

Meanwhile, the banner that used to run around the top of the stadium has been removed, with rumour suggesting it may be replaced with electronic advertising boards or indeed a new banner carrying the King Power brand.

Outside, new posters have been erected and the brand new giant electronic displays are awaiting installation. The club's megastore is continuing to undergo refurbishment.

All is set to be completed in a week's time, ready for the arrival of Jose Mourinho's Galacticos and a capacity 32,262 crowd.
